AMALFI COAST e POMPEII

AMAZING!

one of the few weekend trips we will be taking! and what a trip! after roma, girlfriend, adrian and i took the train down to salerno to spend the next two days in amalfi coast. the amalfi coast we saw consists of 3 cities: amalfi, positano and sorrento. so starting from salerno, it took 3 hours to get to sorrento, but it was the bus rides that was the best parts about the trip. the first full day was raining, so these are mostly pictures of the second day. let's get it started.

early early morning, 6 am with all our stuff catching the bus, for a view like this:

POMPEII, the jawdropping of it all. amazing, spectacular. and to think the girlfriend didn't want to go at first. check out the last picture, wouldn't you be frightened of a huge volcano erupting?

the last three weeks of the trip have been decided.

athens, greece
munich, germany
copenhagen, denmark
edinburgh, scotland
dublin, ireland
london, england (yes again!)

week break shall be BARCELONA

and school trip to VENICE

maybe we can fit one or two more trips inbetween, VALS or SICILY, we'll see.

until the next update....

SAN GIMIGNANO!

from wikipedia,
San Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town in the province of SienaTuscany, north-central Italy. It is mainly famous for its medieval architecture, especially its towers, which may be seen from several kilometers outside the town.

it was poppin' in the city though. tourists all over the place. got some pics of them, so here they are:

waking up to get to the bus, we see the fog consuming castiglion fiorentino:

medieval facades at its finest:

JOUSTIN' in AREZZO!

so last weekend was a joust in a nearby city called Arezzo. there happen to also be an antique fair going on as well. we didnt go to watch the joust, but we saw the parade! here are some pictures:

we always roll deep, though half of those people are not with us:

some old school ducati motorcyle, looks like a bicycle with a motor but it's dope:

the parade for the joust tournament:

symbols of the four jousters:

the masses:

with beautiful statues and buildings in the town, why do people have to fuck it up with graffiti?

and as usual, all of europe love to smoke. using the fucking train tracks as an ashtray

rome is on monday so i am really excited about that. after rome would be amalfi coast and pompeii! maybe some san gimignano and school pictures before then!
